Welcome! As you read this page and
get a glimpse into the purpose and activities of our church, we hope that you will
see what Faith Outreach Chapel is about people --
people just like you and me -- who have
discovered a life-changing relationship with Jesus
Christ.

HISTORY
The
ministry of Faith Outreach Chapel
originally began as a tract ministry
in 1969. Our founder,
Reverend
John W. Carver, Jr.,
was a young Christian who had
a desire to "work for God." In
1973, the Carvers began to have
Bible studies in their home. Their
home became so crowded with people
who wanted to learn more about
God and the Bible that in 1974,
the young congregation decided
to purchase the beautiful church
building where we now worship
- Faith Outreach Chapel.
On
April 3, 1994, after 20 years
of pastoring, John Carver Jr.
resigned his position as pastor
of Faith Outreach Chapel to move
into the evangelistic field of
ministry. Although he is not actively
pastoring, he holds the title
of Senior Pastor and Advisor of
Faith Outreach Chapel. His Ministry
now consists of evangelistic outreach
ministries and the training of
ministers. Upon Senior Pastor's
resignation I,
John Carver,
III, now serve as pastor
of Faith Outreach Chapel. | |

OUR
CHURCH
Our
church is focused on equipping
believers to be effective workers
for Christ, through the use of
teaching materials and practical
ministry, as well as the Faith
Outreach Archives.
The archives is a compilation
of thousands of documents illustrating
the "how to's" evangelism of and
a healing deliverance ministry. Our
services are highlighted with
the sounds of drums, bongos, an
organ, keyboard, bass guitar,
as well as worship music and singing.
Our Senior Pastor, John Carver,
Jr., and I make a powerful team.
He has an anointed "Fire Filled"
healing and deliverance ministry
that is sure to inspire you. He
also allows ministers under his
mentorship to be trained in their
ministries during the services.
I, John Carver, III, minister
in a practical and many times
humorous way to show God's hand
in life's situations, and to stir
people to fulfill their purpose
in life. | |
