Faith Outreach Chapel
History

Faith Outreach Chapel

The ministry of Faith Outreach Chapel originally began as a tract ministry in 1969. Our founder, Reverend John W. Carver, Jr., was a young Christian who had a desire to "work for God." In 1973, the Carvers began to have Bible studies in their home. Their home became so crowded with people who wanted to learn more about God and the Bible that in 1974, the young congregation decided to purchase the beautiful church building where we now worship - Faith Outreach Chapel.

On April 3, 1994, after 20 years of pastoring, John Carver Jr. resigned his position as pastor of Faith Outreach Chapel to move into the evangelistic field of ministry. Although he is not actively pastoring, he holds the title of Senior Pastor and Advisor of Faith Outreach Chapel. His Ministry now consists of evangelistic outreach ministries and the training of ministers. Upon Senior Pastor's resignation I, John Carver, III, now serve as pastor of Faith Outreach Chapel.
