Statement of Beliefs
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible
and authoritative written Word of God (II Timothy 3:15-16) and there
is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God, the Father; God,
the Son; and God, the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19 & Mark 12:29). We
also believe in the Virgin Birth of Christ, His vicarious, atoning
death, bodily resurrection, and ascension (Isaiah 7:14 & Romans
8:34) and in Salvation through the Blood of Jesus Christ (Romans
3:23-25). We believe in Water Baptism by immersion (Matthew 28:19) as
well as that of the redemptive work of Christ on the cross which
provides healing for the human body (Isaiah 53:4 & Matthew
8:16-17). We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Ghost; promised to all
believers, as a source of power for witnessing; with the initial
evidence of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:4, 10:44-46) and in the
sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit who enables a believer to live a
holy life (Hebrews 12:14; I Peter 1:15-16). Finally we believe in the
Hope of the Redeemed, the Rapture of the Church, and the Second Coming
of Christ with the Saints (I Corinthians 15:51-52 & Jude 14-15).
